I've been told the book is an easy read

 Please enjoy this short excerpt from the book...


"When I was five years old, I knew that one day I would be a teacher
.

Twenty-one years later...there I was...
teaching 11 year olds in my home town of Point Pleasant, NJ. 


Then, one day, I was asked by the principal to pilot a reading series. 

My charge was to use the series in my classroom, figure out what I liked and didn't like about it, and then present my findings to the other elementary teachers.


Upon my leave-taking from the school, my fellow educators told me the only reason they adoped 'my' reading program was because I had sold it so well!


My next career had been born!


Although it was years before I was hired to actually 'sell' anything, I did learn immediately from that experience. 

I learned that when I believed in something and thought it was the 'best' I would go to any lengths to convince others to believe in it, too."
